‘Untitled’ is a recent sculpture that references french novel 'Le Sopha, Conte Moral' (The Sofa: A Moral Tale) by Claude Prosper Jolyot de Crébillon, in which the main protagonist is transformed into a sofa and becomes a central gaze throughout the novel. The sculpture becomes a cypher of this anthropomorphic sofa, where bodies become furniture, symptomatic of colonial struggle and geographical displacement.
